Welcome to the Cross Keys Hotel - Originally a 17th Century Coaching Inn the hotel is situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Canonbie, which nestles within the valley of the Border Esk. Two miles over the Scottish border, two minutes from the A7 trunk road, the scenic route to Edinburgh and is approximately ten minutes from Gretna.

The Inn is ideal for those who are seeking the comfort, service and hospitality that is associated with a traditional country Inn. The hotel is within easy access of the local area and the motorway network.

Most of the ground floor has recently been refurbished and now includes disabled facilities. Guests can relax in either the lounge bar or the public bar which is full of local atmosphere.

Bar lunches and evening meals are served daily in the lounge bar. The menu is extensive and varies according to the fresh produce in season.

We have 10 bedrooms, 9 en-suite. Each bedroom is comfortably furnished with central heating, tea and coffee making facilities & TV. There is also a small residents lounge with colour TV which provides a quiet retreat.
